Meet the creator of Biblical Futurism!
Yvette Kendall, "Mother of Biblical Futurism"
Yvette Kendall is an International Selling Author from the south side of Chicago. Kendall is the author of “The GOD Maps” SciFi Series and the creator of the new SciFi sub-genre “Biblical Futurism". Kendall coined "Biblical Futurism" with the conception of her first initial offering of The GOD Maps, Volume One (the first in the trilogy series). Happily, it has developed an instant fan-base and has been met with great reviews! As of today, Kendall is hard at work writing the second volume of The GOD Maps Trilogy, "Rouge Heaven" slated to debut in late 2021.
This is in addition to Kendall becoming the first female writer for a Zombie Anthology published by and affiliate under Calibre Comics. This experience catapulted her into the world of comic book content development. In addition to that, Kendall will be publishing her brand of Zombie Anthologies named "The American Zombie Chronicles" and a Children's Book called "A Zombie For Mommy!" under her publishing company Stravard Lux Publishing House, which includes Element 99 Publications, the in-house comic book publication.
However, her heart still remains with the novel that started it all... #TheGODMaps! The story surrounds the fringe scientific team of LAB-J71, and its team's leader, Dr. Ameerah Mahar. The team's goal is to "Tag & Track" the souls of the recently deceased. They want to find the exact latitude and longitude of "Heaven and Hell".
The book's theme is heavy in Science and are Technology-driven Innovations that are dramatically paired with Religion and Philosophy. The content can be extreme and is filled with quotes that are reminiscent of great minds throughout history. This note is especially important because it only took eight-months to write!
Kendall also created a Comic Book Series adaptation (of the same name) that's in the works right now. She feels that Comic Books are a natural evolution because of the Superhero/Villain overtones that are sewn into the novel. Kendall shares, "I’m especially proud of the cover, since the main character (Dr. Ameerah Mahar) is drawn in my daughter's likeness.
In a recent interview, Kendall stated:
One thing that I would like to state to my readers, is that many may find my work controversial; but I ask you to remember one thing...This is SCIFI! My books have an on-going theme, and that's to give Science Fiction explanations to complexed allegory and deep-rooted unanswered questions. These explanations cover a wide area of real estate that extends not only to Humans, but to God as well. My hope is for people to view God and Humanity (and their relationship to each other ) on every possible angle, even inside out. Only then can we begin to understand what He is and what We are.
If you review my career over the past 20-years, I have always steered my path towards innovation and technology. It’s seen in the products that I have developed and in the organizations that I've created. Organizations like FBI Rocks (Female Black Inventors Rocks), and with the most recent addition of Black Fem Futurists. I feel that innovation and SciFi are in the same wheelhouse, just opposite sides of the same coin.
